The pressure redistribution surface pushes air through millions of tiny beads, creating a fluid-like environment that feels similar to floating on water. This action boosts immersion and envelopment, minimizes shear and pressure, and helps control the skin’s microclimate.2

Patient Comfort

  • The Envella bed’s side/surface transfer deflates the head-of-bed and soft side bolsters to help you transfer patients in and out of bed.

  • To ensure optimum pressure redistribution, internal diagnostics continuously monitor air flow and pressure.

  • Head elevation can be adjusted powered by the patient pendant, designed for patient comfort.

Patient Safety

  • Side/surface transfer deflates the head-of-bed and soft side bolsters to make patient transfers easier.

  • Head-of-bed angle indicator and alert may support your organization's pulmonary protocols.

Care Team Productivity

  • Simple touchscreen controls are consistent with other Baxter beds.

  • An integrated scale lets you weigh your patient in the bed, without disrupting the wound site.

  • Instructions for use are built into the control screen to guide you through operation.
