Bed Features
CPR Release
In an emergency situation, the CPR Release allows caregivers to help save valuable time. CPR Release automatically lowers the bed's head section to a flat position when activated, allowing emergency procedures to be performed without unnecessary delay. The knee section is also lowered once the head section is down.
Bed Functions
All motor functions of the Hillrom Advanta 2 Med Surg Bed are controlled by control panels located on the caregiver side of each side rail.
The Bed Up/Bed Down controls enable you to raise or lower the bed.
Using the Head Up/Head Down controls, you can raise or lower the head section of the bed, up to 65 degrees of inclination.
The Hillrom Advanta 2 Med Surg Bed is capable of achieving Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg up to 16°. You can activate the Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg controls at any height, and the bed adapts to the desired height.
Lockout Controls
The Lockout control, located on the caregiver siderail control panel, disables the bed’s articulation function (for both the patient and caregiver).
Nurse Call Integration (Optional)
Nurse Call is an optional feature available on the Hillrom Advanta 2 Med Surg Beds.
