Heather is also an assistant professor of nursing. The foundation of Heathers clinical knowledge has been built through her 28 years of nursing experience. Heather sits on the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses research committee and on the Executive Board for the National Assistant at Surgery Certification (NASC).
