Course Description

This program is designed for individuals responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the facility’s Hillrom equipment. Upon completion, the participant will return with the product knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to keep the patient care areas functioning at their required levels.

Certification Options

After completing the course, the participant will receive a certificate of completion, indicating they are trained to repair and maintain the Viking® lift series, Golvo® lifts, Sabina® sit-to-stand lifts, LikoGuard® lifts, Likorall® and Multirall™ overhead lifts, Components to the FreeSpan™ system. Recertification is required every two years after completing the Certification course.

Audience

This course is intended for technical service personnel, including Biomedical Engineers and/or Facilities/Maintenance staff, and Hillrom Dealers that perform preventative maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and repair for this Baxter product.

Prerequisites

To enroll in this course, the following knowledge and/or pre-training is required. Participants must also have access to the equipment as follows:

Basic understanding of:

  • Product operation
  • Product components and subsystems

Required Equipment and Documents

  • Access to facility product – recommended
  • Product Service Manual and Spare Parts Lists provided during training

 


Course Lessons & Content

Participants will become capable of using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, and rendering repairs to Liko Overhead and Mobile Patient Lifts. This 2-day training course is designed to train Biomedical Engineers and/or Facilities/Maintenance staff, and Hillrom Dealers about servicing and maintaining the Liko Overhead and Mobile Patient Lifts.

The course includes both theory and practical assignments, which will be performed under supervision of the instructor.
